{"id":2738,"date":"2011-03-31T19:15:43","date_gmt":"2011-03-31T08:15:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/michaelwyres.com\/?p=2738"},"modified":"2011-03-31T19:15:43","modified_gmt":"2011-03-31T08:15:43","slug":"professional-commenter-or-birdbrained","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/michaelwyres.com.au\/mwdc\/2011\/03\/professional-commenter-or-birdbrained\/","title":{"rendered":"Professional Commenter or Birdbrained?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Having a quick browse of the local news before sitting down for dinner this evening, I found myself chuckling at <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.geelongadvertiser.com.au\/article\/2011\/03\/31\/251311_news.html\">a comment posted against this story<\/a> about a concept car for the upcoming new <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt1392190\/\">Mad Max<\/a> sequel, Fury Road, found in the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.geelongadvertiser.com.au\/\">Geelong Advertiser<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Says &#8220;Jo of Geelong&#8221;:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;HHHHHHMMMMMM!!!!!!! if only Ford would use their money for good and not evil!!!!!I&#8217;m sure the money it cost to build this car could have been used for better&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;..&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Says &#8220;Michael of Geelong&#8221; &#8211; (me, obviously):<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Jo of Geelong &#8211; you realise this is a drawing, right?&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>It made me wonder &#8211; are some people really that stupid?  Do some people just throw negative comments at articles, just to be negative, or attack initiatives they don&#8217;t care about or understand?
