{"id":2962,"date":"2011-05-13T10:18:42","date_gmt":"2011-05-13T00:18:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/michaelwyres.com\/?p=2962"},"modified":"2011-05-13T10:18:42","modified_gmt":"2011-05-13T00:18:42","slug":"photoshop-fail","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/michaelwyres.com.au\/mwdc\/2011\/05\/photoshop-fail\/","title":{"rendered":"Photoshop Fail"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I was just watching a video about <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.heraldsun.com.au\/sport\/afl\/jack-takes-unfair-knock\/story-fn7shz1t-1226054342889\">the three-match suspension of Melbourne player Jack Trengrove<\/a> on the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.heraldsun.com.au\/sport\/afl\/\">Herald-Sun AFL Minisite<\/a>, and noticed an epic Photoshop fail.<\/p>\n<p><center>\n<table border=\"0\" width=\"80%\" cellpadding\t=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\">\n  <tr>\n    <td class=\"linkbox\"><a class=\"linkboxtext\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/video.heraldsun.com.au\/1920635158\/Im-not-going-to-change-the-way-I-play\">I&#8217;m Not Going to Change the Way I Play<\/td>\n  <\/tr>\n<\/table>\n<\/center>\n<\/p>\n<p>Firstly, lets look at a shot from within the running video:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Note the lack of a &#8220;Herald-Sun Superfooty&#8221; sign on the wall behind Trengove.  Now, lets look at the preview thumbnail that displays before the video rolls:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Hmm&#8230;not even a good Photoshop job, with the logo actually being wider than the piece of wall behind him that they&#8217;ve tried to paste it onto.<\/p>\n<p>It encroaches on the black door frame on the left, and on the right it magically appears on a section of wall that is clearly some distance closer to the camera than the main piece of wall they tried to use.<\/p>\n<p>Not a good look &#8211; is it really that important to get the Superfooty logo in there?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was just watching a video about the three-match suspension of Melbourne player Jack Trengrove on the Herald-Sun AFL Minisite, and noticed an epic Photoshop fail.
