Of course, racing drivers are among <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/michaelwyres.com\/2010\/07\/age-versus-fitness-in-motor-racing\/\">some of the fittest athletes<\/a> on the planet.<\/p>\n<p>And some of the bravest.  For example, have a look at some brief wet weather highlights of the most recent <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.v8supercars.com.au\/\">V8 Supercars<\/a> event, held today at <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sandown_Raceway\">Sandown International Raceway<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p><center>\n<table border=\"1\" width=\"450\" cellpadding=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\">\n  <tr>\n    <td align=\"center\" width=\"450\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"450\" height=\"290\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HHiugkJxaMA\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/td>\n  <\/tr>\n<\/table>\n<\/center>\n<\/p>\n<p>Many motor sport categories involved in banked oval track racing &#8211; (such as NASCAR) &#8211; due to higher centrifugal forces, are suspended when it rains.
