{"id":4340,"date":"2011-11-28T22:16:04","date_gmt":"2011-11-28T11:16:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/michaelwyres.com\/?p=4340"},"modified":"2011-11-28T22:16:04","modified_gmt":"2011-11-28T11:16:04","slug":"nascar-drivers-in-v8-supercars","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/michaelwyres.com.au\/mwdc\/2011\/11\/nascar-drivers-in-v8-supercars\/","title":{"rendered":"NASCAR Drivers in V8 Supercars?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With the V8 Supercars set to <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.v8supercars.com.au\/everything%E2%80%99s-bigger-in-texas\/tabid\/70\/newsid\/11406\/default.aspx\">race at the new Circuit of the America&#8217;s in Texas<\/a> in 2013, and suggestions that <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.v8supercars.com.au\/championship\/newsarticle\/gold-coast-format-for-usa-race\/tabid\/70\/newsid\/11832\/default.aspx\">the event may follow a similar guest driver format<\/a> to the Gold Coast 600 &#8211; except using exclusively American drivers &#8211; a question comes to mind&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;how would a NASCAR driver do in V8 Supercar?<\/p>\n<p>I think they would do extremely well, and in fact it has already happened.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, Boris Said has had a few runs in our cars, but what about the top drivers?
