{"id":873,"date":"2010-06-02T12:53:54","date_gmt":"2010-06-02T02:53:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/michaelwyres.com\/?p=873"},"modified":"2010-06-02T12:53:54","modified_gmt":"2010-06-02T02:53:54","slug":"bin-laden-vs-rudd-and-conroy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/michaelwyres.com.au\/mwdc\/2010\/06\/bin-laden-vs-rudd-and-conroy\/","title":{"rendered":"Bin Laden vs Rudd and Conroy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A very useful feature of Google Search is the pre-emptive &#8220;suggested searches&#8221; that drop down as you type your search into the box.<\/p>\n<p>These suggestions are calculated based on a combination of the commonality of individual search requests &#8211; (ie: how often people are searching for the term) &#8211; and the availability of material in their index that matches the search.<\/p>\n<p>Clearly, there is a lot more negative material regarding Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, and his Communications Minister Stephen Conroy currently online, than there is about terrorist mastermind Osama Bin Laden!<\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<p>These may be a result of a link bomb campaign, similar to that which <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/searchengineland.com\/google-kills-bushs-miserable-failure-search-other-google-bombs-10363\">labelled former US President George W Bush as a &#8220;miserable failure&#8221;<\/a>, but even a campaign like that would make an important point.<\/p>\n<p>The point being that the policies of the current Rudd \/ Labor government in this country are becoming more and more hated as time passes, and the dissatisfaction being voiced by the public is being completely ignored by them.<\/p>\n<p>One might say that they have become a &#8220;miserable failure&#8221;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A very useful feature of Google Search is the pre-emptive &#8220;suggested searches&#8221; that drop down as you type your search into the box.
